International United Miss
2024 - 2025
Hello everyone!! My name is Ashton Britt, your International United Miss ‘24-‘25! I am from a small town in the heart of North Carolina where I grew up as part of a farm family! Currently, I am a senior at Campbell University, double majoring in Business Administration Management and Marketing. After I graduate in May, I plan to further my education by attending cosmetology school. Once I earn my cosmetology license, my goal is to open my own salon and then begin traveling doing hair and makeup for weddings and, of course, pageants! I want to ensure that everyone who sits in my chair knows how special they are and walks away feeling confident and ready to conquer the world!
In my free time, I exude my passion for the arts by singing (now semi-classically with plans to one day be an opera singer) and performing in musicals. I also show my love for children as an American Red Cross Certified Babysitter, babysitting any time I can! My friends are definitely a highlight as we love shopping at all the local boutiques and attending many sporting events on my campus. Lastly, I enjoy my time as a member of the Iota Beta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. I serve my sorority as Vice President of Inclusion and Greek life as Panhellenic Secretary. In addition, my sorority family and I love going to our family spot, Chili’s, where you can catch us always indulging in a delicious skillet cookie!
My platform is Be the Crown, which I created a little over 3 years ago to instill confidence and authenticity in the lives of young women. Throughout my performing journey, I had moments where I was told that I wasn’t good enough, that I couldn’t accomplish my goals, and that I had to “fit a mold” to be successful - NONE of that is true! When I sat down, I told myself that I was enough, I could do anything I set my mind to, and I was worthy in God’s eyes; I was able to accomplish one of the greatest goals I had set for myself. My goal through BTC is to ensure that everyone I reach via social media, word of mouth, or my workbook, “Becoming the Crown,” knows their worth, celebrates their differences, and radiates for others.
The NC/SC/GA state pageant was my first time competing with International United Miss, and it was the most incredible experience. When I first found IUM, I fell in love with its passion for mentorship, volunteerism, sisterhood through #sistersbysash, kindness, and allowing you to be your most authentic self! All of these core values resonate with me deeply and are ones I strive to promote/exude on a daily basis. Getting to experience these values firsthand, gaining new friendships, and experiencing the true feeling of a system made the IUM experience unmatched for me. My love for IUM only grew after making new connections and memories, as well as feeling the support from everyone involved at Internationals, and I know it will continue to strengthen over this upcoming year!
International United Miss is truly a place where you are loved, supported, uplifted, and can be truly and authentically YOU! If you are someone who has a passion for sisterhood, mentorship, service, and becoming the best version of yourself, whether you are new to pageantry or have been involved for many years, IUM is the place to be. Throughout my time as an International United Miss titleholder, I have broadened my horizons, reached more people with my platform, served new organizations and those close to my heart, and mentored the most amazing littles I could have asked for. IUM has helped me even more to embrace who I am and my abilities while also challenging me to grow and become the woman I am today! Not only has this system become family, but a place that I will forever call my home.
