Hey Y’all! I'm Carley Steeples, a proud farm girl from Elkton, TN, where I grew up showing horses since the age of 5. Alongside my love for horses, I also thrived in basketball and softball. My journey into pageantry began in 7th grade when I convinced my mom to let me enter our local Fairest of the Fair pageant, sparking my passion for pageantry ever since. I've been happily married to my husband Chris for four years, and we call Ardmore, TN home with our beloved Miniature Schnauzers, Marley and Sadie June.

Professionally, I've been a registered nurse for 8 years, currently working as a travel nurse in Knoxville, TN, specializing in the ER at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. On the side, I own Truck Top Couture, a Trucker Hat Bar that travels to festivals, vendor events, and boutique pop-ups.

Outside of work, I cherish moments kayaking, bonding with my nephews Cason and Charlie, exploring new destinations, and indulging in some retail therapy. I'm an avid fan of Survivor and The Amazing Race, and my ultimate dream is to compete on both shows—one of the top items on my bucket list!

In 2021 I created my platform  “Positively You” where it is my goal to normalize insecurities while uplifting others. As someone who has struggled with insecurities throughout my life “Positively You” is dedicated to fostering self-love and confidence by embracing and normalizing our insecurities. It aims to create a supportive community where individuals can openly share their struggles and triumphs, promoting authenticity and acceptance. By highlighting personal stories and encouraging positive reinforcement, “Positively You” seeks to uplift others, helping everyone realize their unique worth and potential. 

Throughout my reign, you will see positive reminders on Social Media to help remind YOU of your worth. I will also be hosting “Positively You- Power Hours” online and in person, striving to empower others to be confident and unapologetically themselves. 

My deep affection for IUM has only grown stronger over the years. Since my first competition in 2021, I have found myself consistently drawn to the warm and encouraging atmosphere that defines IUM. Unlike my experiences in other systems, I instantly felt at home the moment I stepped into IUM. The values upheld by IUM resonate deeply with my own, and the support I received—from Queens to directors, staff, fellow delegates, and even parents—was nothing short of heartwarming. Though it took me four years to clinch the title, I cherish every moment of my journey with IUM. Through this remarkable system, I've not only made lifelong friendships with inspiring women from around the world but also undergone significant personal growth. I am immensely grateful to IUM for shaping me into the woman I am today.
